You will create a portfolio throughout your apprenticeship. In this portfolio you will talk about projects you have done at work. They should cover the key competency, which highlight what skills you are highlighting. This portfolio will then be submitted at the end of your apprenticeship.
EPA
The End Point Assessment is one of the final steps of your apprenticeship. You will be in gateway at this point and will not be receiving any more training from the apprenticeship provider. This is when you will have 4 days to complete a synoptic project. The skills you have learnt throughout your apprenticeship will be highlighted in this project. You will then have a final interview where you will discuss your time during your apprenticeship, go over your employer reference and your portfolio and discuss your project.
What happens after?
After you have finished your apprenticeship and had your interview you will then receive your results.
What happens after is usually up to you. Most apprentices stay with the same employer as they are confident in their roles. You can also continue further education or apply for new jobs.
